Q: How affordable is the Aqua Lodge?
A.: Ten to twenty years financing is available with as little as 10% down. With today's low interest rates, your monthly payments can be less than $400.
Q: What about taxes?
Aqua Lodges qualify for second home income tax deductions and are taxed as personal property.
Q: How do I insure my Aqua Lodge?
A: Your insurance agent can supply you with a quote to insure your Aqua Lodge. Annual rates are typically in the $375 - $550 range.
Q: Do I need a motor for my Aqua Lodge?
A: Yes, you will need a motor for your Aqua Lodge. Aqua Lodges are in use with trolling motors as well as motors from 40 to 150 horsepower.
Q: What kind of upkeep does the Aqua Lodge require?
A: The hulls, decks and cabin of your Aqua Lodge are all fiberglass. This eliminates the need for extensive maintenance and never requires painting. The fiberglass hulls also make the Aqua Lodge perfectly suited for salt or brackish water.
Q: What type of electrical system does the Aqua Lodge have?
A: Aqua Lodges are normally equipped with a 30 amp 110 volt system. This provides ample power for air conditioning and normal power needs. A 50 amp 220 volt system upgrade package is also available.
Q: What about waste water from the Aqua Lodge?
A: Aqua Lodges are equipped with water saver toilets that require as little as a pint of water. Septic systems are available for waste purposes as well. All Aqua Lodges have 150 gallon holding tanks for black water, or bathroom waste. We are proud that Aqua Lodges do not allow discharge from waste overboard into our waters.
Q: What about fresh water?
A: Aqua Lodges are designed to be hooked up with a garden hose to a dock or city water system. An optional on board water system is available. The Aqua Lodge also has a 96 gallon fresh water tank for extended stays.
Q: Where can I dock my Aqua Lodge?
A: Your Aqua Lodge can be delivered to any body of water you choose. Various slip locations are also available in Deltaville, VA.
Q: How long will it take to have my Aqua Lodge delivered?
A: The current Aqua Lodge production time is 6 weeks from the date of order. Timely orders will guarantee your delivery date especially in anticipation of heavy production schedules for spring and early summer.
